Account Deletion & Data Safety

Step-by-step instructions for requesting or executing complete deletion of your Chefly Schedules account and personal data.

What happens when you delete your account

Deleting your account is a permanent operational action. Once executed:

  • Your profile credentials, name, email, and phone number are permanently removed.
  • Your authentication record is deleted from Firebase Auth.
  • Your active and historical shifts are permanently unlinked and archived or removed.
  • This action is irreversible. Our support team cannot recover your historical dashboard or settings.

Method 01 | In-App Self-Service Deletion

If you currently have the app installed, you can securely purge your own account from the app dashboard:

  1. Open the Chefly Schedules app and log into your account.
  2. Tap your profile avatar or navigate to the Profile / Settings tab in the navigation menu.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the profile options page.
  4. Locate the red Delete Account button.
  5. Confirm the security prompt to permanently purge your data and account. You will be automatically logged out and all data is instantly erased.

Method 02 | Remote Deletion Request

If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your account, you can request manual backend deletion from our support team:

Once we verify ownership of the account, we will purge all profile credentials and schedule records within 48 hours and send you a confirmation email.

Data Policy | Data Retention & Compliance

In accordance with Google Play's Developer Content Policy, when you delete your account, we delete all user data associated with that account. Some anonymized transactional logging or security records may be preserved temporarily in our cloud logs to prevent fraudulent activity or verify system status, but no personally identifiable information (PII) will be retained.
